Games

The rise of computer games over the last 15 years has been a phenomenal success.  Not only have we seen the PC games market open up but games consoles have enjoyed years of success year on year.

Without PHP scripts there would be no online gaming and its online gaming that has made the games console market explode as internet connections get faster so the more possibilities are available.

Microsoft are the biggest player involved in both markets as they dominate the PC and Console business  with their windows operating system for the PC and XBOX 360 for consoles.

It seem now that games developers are looking to improve already existing titles each year instead of coming up with new titles so the likes of games such as Halo, Grand Theft Auto and the two football games Pro Evo Soccer and Fifa will still be banging out a game each year certainly for the next few years at least.  The main reason for the success of these titles are the gamers themselves as they as always hungry for more and the games makers are never far behind with a follow up to the previous game.  It seen a meteoric rise of games and has lead to sales figures that even outstrip film releases.
